Milana

 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American comedian, actor, and activist. She was born to Jewish parents from the Soviet Union and started her career as a child actress when she immigrated to the United States. In AT&T commercials she played the character as Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 until 2016 and into the year 2020. The commercials she appeared in were not her only activity she was involved in. She also appeared on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015) and was a regular in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub was originally chosen to play the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's unaired pilot for New Warriors in 2018, has been voiced that role since. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. Her parents, who were both at the age of two, came to America as refugees from antisemitism. They moved to West Hollywood. She started performing in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five, due in part to the financial difficulties of her family. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. But she dropped out of the school in her sophomore year. She obtained a GED and then went on to get a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from University of California San Diego. She studied improv with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
